What Really Happens When Illegal Aliens are Arrested Instead of Deported

Rape. Kidnapping. Murder.

These are the things that happen when criminal illegal aliens are not deported out of the United States. It’s not a coincidence that crime has surged at the same time that illegal migration has surged.

California likes to promote that they are a sanctuary state. They see it as a way to make it easier for illegal aliens to live their lives without fear of being deported.

What happens in a sanctuary state, however, is that they protect criminals. After an arrest, they should be handed over to ICE. Yet, that doesn’t happen. The person commits another crime, serves the time, and is released – back into the sanctuary state where they are protected.

In the story of Fredys Aguilar-Menjivar, the illegal alien from El Salvador was recently convicted to 45 years in prison. He was forcibly raping a child, a member of his own family, who was under the age of 14. He was charged with three counts of forcible rape and one count of child molestation.

How did this happen? How was this allowed to happen?

In 2016, he was ordered to be deported by a federal immigration judge. Following the orders to deport, he went on to rape a girl repeatedly for the span of nearly two years. It wasn’t until he was caught in the act at a family party that anyone knew that it was going on.

Aguilar-Menjivar has since been arrested – and ICE has issued a detainer so that when he’s released from prison, he’ll be turned over to federal immigration officers for arrest and deportation. Following his sentence, however. That means that Aguilar-Menjivar won’t actually be deported for 45 years – sooner if he is a model prisoner.

Unfortunately, there are stories like this in the news each and every day. Mind you, they’re never on the front page. The liberal media likes to bury those stories, especially in the local California papers.

The sanctuary states allow crimes to happen under their noses. And to think how much money they could save by focusing on deportation instead of prison sentences.

The Center for American Progress estimates that the cost of deportation averages out to $10,070 per person. The cost of prison per year is approximately $20,000.

Even some of the lower prison sentences of two and three years are costing the state a significant amount of money. No wonder why California is asking for a federal handout – they’re going broke because of the migrants.

California wants to provide stimulus payments to the illegal migrants. They want to clean up the crimes of the illegal migrants without involving ICE. And, they’d rather shell out tens of thousands of dollars to keep them in prison than to just deport them.

Why is this such a hard concept for the Democrats to understand? If someone who isn’t even an American breaks the law, they should be forced back to the country where they belong.

Instead, they would rather put their bleeding hearts on display. Why deport when we can put them in prison? And, why keep them in prison for any longer than necessary?

The answer should be evident based on the crimes that are being committed. A girl was raped repeatedly by a family member simply because the state didn’t want to deport him.

People are robbed, kidnapped, and molested daily because of the illegal aliens on the streets who don’t want to follow the rules. They came from a country where there was high crime – and they may have been some of the ones contributing to it.

Coming to America for them isn’t a chance to start over. It’s not a chance to lead a better life. It’s a chance for them to mooch off a government that is too dumb to realize what’s going on.

If there’s one thing that Biden needed to learn from Obama, it was the importance of deportation. Sadly, it appears that’s the one lesson he missed.
