New York Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has made a name for herself in endorsing the unreasonable. In addition to her “green new deal” the newby representative has plans for open borders, police demolition and virtually entirely open borders, all of which she seems to have no idea how to implement.
The petulant millennial of Congress has gone so far as to earn the ire of Former Republican House Speaker Newt Gingrich who slammed the New York Democrat, saying that she, and both of the major political parties, are to blame for the expiration of the eviction moratorium, calling her spending plans “a fantasy,” according to The Independent Journal Review.
Gingrich made his comments during the Fox News interview on Monday, where the longtime GOP icon said, “There’s no amount of money that left-wing anti-Americans wouldn’t spend.”
He added, “There’s no amount of money that you could give people that they would think is too much and if you were to ask AOC ‘what’s the most somebody should get,’ she couldn’t possibly give you an answer. You ask her, who is going to pay for all of this?”
Additionally, the former leader of the Republican party said that the spending plans put out by lawmakers like AOC and other Democrats are “a fantasy” that is putting the nation “on the edge … of significant inflation.”
“It’s a fantasy, so we’re in a situation right now where we’re on the edge, I think, of significant inflation, because the government is spending far more than it’s taking in,” Gingrich commented. “It is putting dramatic inflationary pressure on the economy, and every American will end up being poorer because of the policies of the left-wing Democrats,” he added.
I was unhoused and forced to live out of my car with my two babies.
Today, as the St. Louis Congresswoman, I introduced The Unhoused Bill of Rights, which declares the rights of unhoused people, and would end the unhoused crisis by 2025.
This is a surreal feeling.

All of this comes on the heels of Ocasio-Cortez retweeted a post from fellow New York Democratic Rep. Jamaal Bowman on Monday that said, “The White House says it doesn’t have authority to extend the eviction moratorium or cancel student debt. But it hasn’t had a problem conducting airstrikes without authorization from Congress.”
In other words, protecting our country should be put lower on the priority list than remembering to make sure we don’t have to pay for something that we promised to pay for.
AOC and other entitled Democrats put one to mind of any spoiled teenager whose parents are well enough off that they’ve probably neglected them somewhat and compassionate enough to feel badly about it, so the kid essentially just stomps their foot or uses some sort of emotional blackmail to get whatever they want.

The parents know it’s happening, the kids know it’s happening, and everyone knows that it’s toxic, it’s just so much easier than dealing with purging the problem from the family, so the world is left to deal with a dysfunctional adult that either gets what they want or goes on a rampage.

It, unfortunately, sets the kids up for a life full of disappointment when they realize that there’s no such thing as a free lunch and the rest of the world won’t be so kind. In this case, the “parents” are letting the kids get away with signing their home and all their assets over to the nice drug dealer that promises to never let them want for anything ever again. This means that if no one intervenes, we could all end up beholding to some dictator sooner rather than later, all because some immature kids terrorized the adults out of speaking up.
Whether that was the notorious AOC’s personal upbringing or not, I don’t know, but I do know that soon after her daughter moved out of the house her mother moved clear across the country and low key said it was tax policies like what her daughter wants to implement that made her have to leave her home state of New York, so … you do the math.
