The Sunday shows do not always pay close attention to the true problems that are going on in America. That’s why we are pleasantly surprised by what is taking place here. They have been treating the current border crisis with the attention that it really deserves. Score one for the mainstream media!
Team Biden has been taken to task for their ridiculous methodology and rightfully so. We were worried that the mainstream media would spend the next four years making all of the excuses for him. ABC News is especially annoyed and they are calling out his policies (as well as the perception that they are creating).
Immigrants are going to be making their way to our borders at a greater rate because Biden has essentially declared open season. Those who make it across know that Joe is not going to be too tough on them. This is a mentality that is only going to become more and more pervasive during the months to come.
ABC’s Martha Raddatz was able to speak to one of the illegal immigrants and it is one of the most telling interviews that you are ever going to see. Raddatz asked them if they would have been willing to come across the border when Donald Trump was president. Of course, the answer was no.
ABC's Martha Raddatz to illegal alien who crossed the border: "Would you have tried to do this when Donald Trump was president?"
Illegal alien: "Definitely not."
Raddatz: “Did you come here because Joe Biden was elected president?"
Illegal: “Basically” pic.twitter.com/OsxvdG8xO0

Biden has created a total free for all and this immigrant confirmed it, letting the world know that Biden gave him the all-clear. The panel on This Week was quite annoyed with him, too. They said that he needs to own the disaster that is currently taking place. We cannot wait to see how this administration manages to pin things on Trump.
That’s been their go-to defense for everything so far. If they are pushed on any decision that they have made, they make it Trump’s fault somehow. DHS chief Alejandro Mayorkas was also confronted by Raddatz. Apparently, the current administration was given all of the advance warnings that they needed about the border crisis. They were told that if they reversed the Trump era policies, they would cause a massive surge.

Did they listen? Of course not, Biden always knows best. He barely knows his own name half the time but we’re supposed to believe that he can handle the complexities of a border crisis. The Washington Post has a lengthy story about this matter that is well worth your time. Team Biden knew what would happen and still proceeded without taking any caution.
“During the transition period, career officials at U.S. Customs and Border Protection tried to issue sober alarms to the Biden team about the likelihood of a crisis at the border that could quickly overwhelm the nation’s capacity. Senior CBP officials delivered Zoom briefings to the Biden transition team that included modeling projections showing a steep increase in the arrival of unaccompanied minors if Trump’s policies were suddenly lifted, according to one current and two former Department of Homeland Security officials…
Biden transition officials understood the risks, as well, identifying a surge of unaccompanied minors and a dearth of shelter space exacerbated by the pandemic as the most pressing problem. Yet Biden immediately embarked on an aggressive strategy to roll back Trump administration policies…
But Biden did not have adequate preparations in place when he began rolling back some of Trump’s policies and sounding a welcoming note. Even some Biden allies said they had expected the White House to use the coronavirus crisis to buy themselves time to implement a more robust immigration plan before beginning wholesale policy changes, and were taken aback when Biden forged ahead,” WaPo reports.

Now, there are over 15,000 unaccompanied children currently sitting in federal custody. The borders are truly open now and we are sure these immigrants will be allowed to saunter inside before too long. There’s a very simple solution here: have the immigrants apply for asylum before they have left their home countries. That would be too easy for Joe, though!
